Krammer & Stoudt
Krammer & Stoudt is directly inspired by Creative Director Mike Rubin’s life experience. Drawing from the seminal subcultures of Southern California, where Mike was born and raised, the gritty and independent energy of Brooklyn, where he lives today and creates the collections, and the soul of the Southwest, a rustic and raw landscape, where he chooses to decompress from the pressures of being a designer.
Almost always seen with a lit cigar, Mike is the embodiment of the brand’s aesthetic, mature yet ageless in appeal, with an eclectic personal style that reflects his love of classic American design.
The style doesn’t adhere to fads or trends, but transcends generations like a classic rock and roll song. Imported Italian, Portugese and Japanese textiles create the palettes and textures that make Krammer & Stoudt unique from other ‘Made in the USA’ brands today. We aspire to an aesthetic beyond casual ready-to-wear, by combining the incomparable textile sophistication of Europe and Asia with our very American sensibilities in design.
At Krammer & Stoudt, we don’t buy into a philosophy of success defined solely by profit. We believe in a new American luxury that takes the tropes of traditional workwear and ‘heritage’, and evolves those concepts to appeal to a more global and sophisticated menswear audience. We aspire to redefine what it means to be ‘Made in America’ in the apparel sector.
